Here are just a few of the people that make Partners In Care New York's gold standard in private home care.
Maria
Maria has been a part of our team since December of 2004. Maria has always enjoyed caring for people in need. She decided to become a home health aide because this type of work would allow her the opportunity to care for her two children while doing the work she loves. Originally from Russia, Maria has been in this country for eleven years. When she is not caring for her patients, she is at home planting flowers, reading and working on improving her writing skills in English.
Rosa
Rosa has been part of our organization since May 2003. Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Rosa migrated to New York in 1973. She claims that taking care of people in need as a home health aide would one day help her to achieve her life long dream of becoming a nurse. She is valued by her supervisor as a reliable aide and is therefore working as an on call aide in the Private Care Department. Rosa has been married for 31 years and has 3 children. During her spare time she enjoys listening to gospel music and reading. Rosa commitment to her patients and to Partners in Care makes her a true asset to our organization.
Veronica
Veronica has been with Partners in Care since September 1999. She decided to become a home health aide while caring for her brother who died of cancer. Veronica was born and raised in New York, and believes that by taking care of the sick she is giving back to her community. In her spare time, this compassionate individual loves to ride her bike and go to the movies. Veronica is an inspiration to us all.
Hawanatu
Hawanatu joined Partners in Care as a home health aide in June 2005. Originally from West Africa, Hawanatu came to the United States in 2004. Once in New York, she decided to continue to help others as she did in her native country. Hawanatu has four children and in her free time she enjoys watching baseball and soccer. Her goal is to pass her state board exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Eleanor
Eleanor has been a part of the Partners in Care Family as a home health aide for twenty-two years. She became an aide to be able to help others. Her coworkers and patients consider Eleanor to be an amazingly compassionate and caring person. Originally from Haiti, she came to the United States in 1976. She currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband of twenty-six years.
Frankie
Frankie joined Partners in Care in July 2004. He became a certified home health aide when encouraged by a good friend. Frankie is compassionate, caring and is always looking to go the extra mile for any person who needs help. Originally from Puerto Rico, Frankie has lived in New York City for 5 five years. When he is not caring for his patients you can find him listening to his favorite salsa music or reading. His dream is to one day become a nurse and be able to care for people who do not have anyone to care for them. Frankie is a true asset to our organization.
