Our home health aides provide one-on-one service and undivided attention to their clients for a minimum of four hours a day. Spending so much time in close contact makes it especially important that you get along with your caregiver.
That’s why Partners in Care looks at much more than your medical needs. When you first call us, a client services representative will ask you a series of questions that will help us to understand a potential client’s physical, emotional and mental needs. When your nurse does her initial assessment and creates your customized plan of care, she will take note of personal preferences and interests, emotional needs, and the effects that aging or illness might have on behavior or mood.
All of this information allows us to match you or your loved one with a highly trained, certified home health aide who might share those interests. Our aides respect your particular needs and desire to maintain quality of life, whether that means regular walks in the park, afternoon tea, reading the newspaper, or discussing current events.
In addition, many of our aides are bilingual and also speak Spanish, Russian or Chinese. If you or your loved one is more comfortable speaking a language other than English, we will do our best to accommodate your preference.
